Can I plant Ceratostigma willmottianum in October? Bought as a gift & is in an 8 inch pot.

      Hi Susan
As it is in a pot you can plant Ceratostigma willmottianum in October ideally in a place with full sun or partial shade with free draining soil, add a bit of horticultural grit if you soil is cold heavy clay as a harsh winter could kill it off if it hasn’t had time to establish that’s why we would tend to plant them earlier, don’t prune until March.
      Hope that helps.
